Shipping conditions of FROOSTY® – Christian Kernchen

1. General Shipping Information

FROOSTY® – Christian Kernchen accepts many national and international orders, subject to availability, destination, product type, technical feasibility and applicable legal or logistical restrictions.

Shipping options, shipping costs and estimated delivery times may vary depending on the destination country, product format, product size, product value, packaging requirements and shipping service provider.

Mandatory statutory rights of the customer, including consumer rights, warranty rights and statutory claims in the event of defects, remain unaffected.

2. Processing and Shipping Times

Many artworks, prints and editions offered by FROOSTY® are produced, prepared, finished, inspected, signed, numbered or packaged individually after an order has been placed. This careful processing is important to ensure professional quality, safe handling and secure shipment.

Unless otherwise stated in the respective product description or communicated separately, please allow an average processing time of approximately 2–3 weeks before shipment. Depending on the product, print process, finishing, signature, drying, curing, packaging or logistical requirements, processing may take longer.

Certain artworks and prints may require a drying and curing time of at least 48–72 hours before safe and secure packaging and shipment is possible.

Processing and shipping times are estimates and may vary, especially in the case of high order volume, special formats, limited editions, collector’s editions, international shipments, customs procedures, public holidays, seasonal delays or circumstances beyond our control.

Customers will usually be informed by email about the current processing status and shipping date. Where available, a tracking number will be provided after the shipment has been dispatched.

3. Shipping Providers

We work with professional logistics partners and shipping providers such as DHL, DPD, GLS, UPS, FedEx and other national or international carriers, depending on the destination, product type, shipment value and logistical requirements.

As a small independent brand, we are also dependent on the processing times, routing decisions, delivery procedures and operational conditions of the respective shipping service providers.

4. Delivery Address and Customer Information

When placing your order, please ensure that all personal information and the delivery address provided are complete, accurate and up to date.

The customer is responsible for providing a correct and deliverable shipping address. If a shipment cannot be delivered due to incorrect, incomplete or outdated address information provided by the customer, additional shipping costs, return costs, storage fees, customs charges, taxes or reshipment costs may arise.

Where legally permissible, such additional costs may be charged to the customer if they were caused by incorrect, incomplete or outdated information provided by the customer or by failure to accept, collect or enable delivery of the shipment.

5. National and International Shipping

National and international shipping may be available depending on destination, product type, shipping restrictions, customs regulations and logistical feasibility.

International shipments may be subject to customs duties, import duties, import taxes, local taxes, handling fees or other charges imposed by customs authorities, carriers or authorities in the destination country.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, such customs duties, import duties, import taxes, local taxes, handling fees or comparable charges are not included in the product price or shipping costs shown in our online shop and must be borne by the customer where applicable under the laws and regulations of the destination country.

Shipping providers such as DHL, DPD, GLS, UPS, FedEx or other national or international carriers may contact the customer directly to collect outstanding customs duties, taxes, fees or information required for customs clearance.

Failure to provide required information, failure to pay required customs duties, taxes or fees, or failure to cooperate with customs or shipping providers may result in delivery delays, return of the shipment, additional costs or failed delivery.

Where legally permissible, costs caused by failed customs clearance, refusal to accept delivery, non-payment of import charges or return of the shipment may be charged to the customer. Mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.

6. Delivery Delays

Delivery delays may occur due to production, drying, curing, packaging, customs clearance, carrier delays, public holidays, seasonal shipping volumes, weather conditions, strikes, force majeure, incorrect address information or other circumstances beyond our direct control.

We will make reasonable efforts to process and ship orders as quickly and safely as possible. Estimated processing or delivery times are not guaranteed delivery dates unless expressly confirmed as binding in writing.

7. Transport Damage

If you notice visible transport damage upon delivery, please document the damage as soon as possible and keep the packaging, shipping material and product until the matter has been clarified.

If possible, please include meaningful photographs of the outer packaging, inner packaging, shipping label, damaged area and product, as well as your order number and a short description of the issue.

This helps us to clarify the matter with the shipping service provider and to process your request efficiently. Your statutory rights, including warranty rights, remain unaffected.

8. Unclaimed, Refused or Undeliverable Shipments

If a shipment is not accepted, not collected, refused, cannot be delivered or is returned to us for reasons attributable to the customer, we will contact the customer to clarify the next steps.

Where legally permissible, additional costs caused by non-acceptance, failed delivery, return shipment, storage, customs handling or reshipment may be charged to the customer.

Mandatory statutory rights of the customer remain unaffected.

9. Collection by the Customer

Collection by the customer is not possible for logistical reasons, unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.
